Funny story.
A few weeks ago at church, I was hanging around the sound booth, talking with a group of friends (all of us single) and my best friends mom (aka momma shelton). We started talking about the number of people in world, and how is just past 7 billion or something like that. Then momma shelton throws out a wonderful comment:
“and yet none of you can seem to find anyone to date”
And...
Oh heart, why have you failed me?
Emotions are funny things. I try not to trust them. God is my rock. He never fails. So my trust is in Him.

My mentor
watched the man she loved from the time she was in junior high date another girl when she was my age and eventually he proposed.
